Ali Edwards' Week in the Life
A month ago I order Ali Edwards' Week in the Life kit. A Week in the Life is a project where you document your life during a particular week. You take pictures, journal, add receipts or ticket stubs and just memory keep for the week. Ali decided that this year the week for Week in the Life would be the week of April 17.
This was the reason that I purchased this kit because...my birthday is April 16! I decided that I would use this kit to document the first week of 45. You know what that means! I wanted to capture everything that happens that first week of the new birthday year. I plan on taking a ton of pictures, journal about everything, save all my receipts and then next week put it all together and pop it into my binder. I'll always be able to flip back through the first week of my 45th year.
I scrapbook every month. Sometimes it covers a particular day more than the week. Sometimes it covers a weeklong event or vacation. I never capture each and every day of the month. That's too much to do every month. But, every now and then, to hunker down and capture the week, now that's doable.
I added a video below that shows you all of the items in the kit. You've probably seen all of the unboxing videos but in case you haven't I've added what I got in my kit.
I love the cover that they sent. It's a gray striped 6X8 album with a 2.5" spine. It's nice and sturdy and the color complements the project life and scrapbook albums that I already have on my shelf.
You get the following items for your binder.

· 7, Plastic Days of the Week Die Cut Pieces
· 11, Plastic Numbers

That is more than enough goodies to complement the pictures that I'll be taking this week! I'm pretty excited about this trip through the week. I think that there are everyday things that will make me giggle, make me sigh and maybe one or two things that will make me sad. But no matter what happens this week, I'll never forget it!
Have you ever looked at your day or week in pictures? Even if you don't order a kit or buy anything special, you should certainly pick a day or a few days and document them. You'll laugh when you look back at the snapshots. I'm sure of it.
